Chartres – Porte Guillaume In Situ
The Porte Guillaume is one of the emblematic places in Chartres. Destroyed in 1944 during the second world war, the site is subject to archaeological excavations and studies since 2010.
In close collaboration with the Archaeology department of Chartres, UTCHA has designed and developed a mobile application focusing on the history of the site and unveiling the XVth century barbican, defensive structure behind the main door “porte Guillaume”.
Public release in november 2013 on Apple Store and Google Play.
